The Ocracoke Cafe was first opened for business on May 21st, 1962, and has undergone little change since, still remenicent of the diners of the sixties. The owner, Samuel Teach, is somewhat of a naive old man at the age of 79, and believes that everyone has some basic good in them. He trusts the Ocracoke's staff to the point that he visits the cafe -maybe- once every three months. Or that's what he lets the staff believe.
The truth is, he has no living relatives, and is always watching the roster for who shows up for work. He plans to put in his will that whoever works the hardest will recieve the deed to the Ocracoke and a sum of $200,000. He's been noticing as of late that if anyone shows up, it's Katie, and she has pulled up to sextuple shifts to keep the Ocracoke in business.
The exterior of the cafe is as one might expect. Simple colores such as white on the walls, green closer to the ground, and a blue roof with a sign that simply reads "Ocracoke Cafe". The double doors are chrome plated and outlined with green paint underneath, and the windows are chrome trimmed. There are some flowering plants next to the building as well as some bushes. It also has a descently sized parking lot, though nowadays it doesn't seem to recieve the ammount of customers that it once did, but does make enough money to stay in business.
The Ocracoke Cafe was so named for Ocracoke Inlet, the place of Blackbeard, AKA Captain Edward Teach's demise at the hands of Lieutenant Maynard.
