Careful though, should you come onto this ship, you may never leave...

Name: Ocracoke Cafe
Run By: [info]kaitlin_harwood Kaitlin (Katie) Harwood
Fandom: Ghost Ship
Open to the public: Yes

picture...Coming Soon

The Ocracoke Cafe was first opened for business on May 21st, 1962, and has undergone little change since, still remenicent of the diners of the sixties. The owner, Samuel Teach, is somewhat of a naive old man at the age of 79, and believes that everyone has some basic good in them. He trusts the Ocracoke's staff to the point that he visits the cafe -maybe- once every three months. Or that's what he lets the staff believe.

The truth is, he has no living relatives, and is always watching the roster for who shows up for work. He plans to put in his will that whoever works the hardest will recieve the deed to the Ocracoke and a sum of $200,000. He's been noticing as of late that if anyone shows up, it's Katie, and she has pulled up to sextuple shifts to keep the Ocracoke in business.

The exterior of the cafe is as one might expect. Simple colores such as white on the walls, green closer to the ground, and a blue roof with a sign that simply reads "Ocracoke Cafe". The double doors are chrome plated and outlined with green paint underneath, and the windows are chrome trimmed. There are some flowering plants next to the building as well as some bushes. It also has a descently sized parking lot, though nowadays it doesn't seem to recieve the ammount of customers that it once did, but does make enough money to stay in business.

The Ocracoke Cafe was so named for Ocracoke Inlet, the place of Blackbeard, AKA Captain Edward Teach's demise at the hands of Lieutenant Maynard.

Veil
Name: Veil
Run by: [info]imlivindreams Niki Sanders
Fandom: Heroes
Open to the Public: Yes, any fandom/character can go to the club

Description of place, etc.:
Veil is located in Los Angelos on Sunset Strip. It's a very modern, posh, upscale strip club/bar meant to have a sophisticated, chiq edge to it to take away from the classless, dirty grind of a regular strip club. The club also features quite a few burlesque shows on any given night. Done in pinks, oranges and whites the central room of the club has tall columns mimicking the curves of a woman's body going floor to ceiling are dispersed throughout the club. The floor is a rosy beige with swirls of black going over it. Whimsical, fairytale like couches in a peachy orange are set up with matching chairs around a horseshow shaped white stage that glows beneath numerous hanging silver disco balls suspended from a ring of neon lighting above. In the middle of the horseshoe a circular bench and plush orange-red stools are arranged with tables for speciality seating. At the back of the room horseshoe shaped booths face towards the stage, their backdrop gauzy fabric that flows from the ceiling to the wall behind them in a concave arch. Overhead the black ceiling with white swirls done in a little more of a chaotic than the floor draw it all together

The bar itself is set off to the side in a space made to look like a separate room - with a dark floor and white wall with rectangular cut outs for numerous bottles backlit with neon pink lighting it just seems to pop. Smooth lines the bar has a smooth white counter with modern stools that almost glow under the blue neon lighting beneath the bar and from the ceiling which is a mix match of black and white. Along the ceiling rolling waves of white architectural design flow.

Known for it's women and shows Veil has quickly become a hot spot in LA for those that are into things a little more naughty and a little more chiq.

Note: The bar is not open quite yet as Niki has just bought the place and is going to be overhauling it soon... since it is RP time though it will be open VERY soon.

Fandom: Underworld
Open to the public?: Invitation only
Picture: Soon. Will give link to administrator.

Reading the Ziodex website you might find the following introduction in the "about us" section: Cutting edge technological advancement in cloning technology for hemotological solutions. Fast turn around supplier of ultra-high purity (>99%) peptides and specialised peptide chemistries built upon Peptide Products lengthy manufacturing and problem-solving expertise.

Only supplier of Bioburst medicine solutions triggered by 2 or more particular disease chemistries, simple point of use homogeneous assay solutions with the high sensitivities of automated laboratory analyzers and multiplexed bioassay solutions using regular microwell readers.

Blah, blah, blah...

What you won't find on the website is that we also experiment on Lycans. Currently, it looks like we are extending our research to other species of vampires.

Ziodex in located in a sprawling glass facility with state of the art security systems and sections that have biometric and DNA scanners. It is located in a technology park, tucked away from the curious. The main research building has 15 floors, three wings and four underground floors. It would be hard to breech the main building and impossible to breach secret facilities inside without incurring severe consequences to your pup (severity depending of his/her abilities).

If you are a part of vampiric sub-species (that is not our own) or a lycanthrope of interest, do not contact us. We will find you.

Name: Mick St. John, Private Investigations
Run by: [info]saint_mick/ Mick St. John
Fandom: Moonlight
Open to the public: Yes

Apparently, Mick St. John has a reputation of doing whatever it takes to solve a case. Some cases he takes because he is asked to. Others he takes because something drives him to take them. His office is located right next to his two floor penthouse on the same floor of a luxury high rise in a good part of town. His office is open to all and is located on the top floor. Part of his roof is glass and the office had glass windows around one side. Security measures mentioned in episode 12:04am include reinforced windows and doors, electronic surveillance on the front door and ten inch steel strike dead bolt locks. His office was, however, broken into once when he was not around (episode Fleur de Lis). Breaches of security into the office are welcome without permission (as long as it makes sense for it to happen) with the stipulation that one DOES NOT find any evidence of vampirism. There is no evidence there to color him a vampire anyway.

Run by: [info]firsts_chosen_1 Caleb, [info]_i_am_sin_ the First Evil
Fandom: Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Open to the Public: Yes

The First Church of Miracles is now open in Los Angeles. Please stop on by if you feel the need for comfort and compassion.

Built in a converted movie theatre, the First Church of Miracles for all intent and purposes looks like a modern new age church. Little do the parishioners know that the church is not dedicated to god but to the First Evil. Publicly Father Caleb Black tends his flock and offers sanctuary and support to those in need with a bright smile and a friendly hand. Beneath the floorboards of the old building, elaborate magic circles were cast to allow the First to siphon the faith and life energy of the converts.

Caleb lives in the converted projection room, where he can observe just about the entire interior of the theatre for danger. The First can of course see all and everywhere from any vantage point.

The Bringers - Caleb's servants - live in a hive beneath the foundation in the sewer tunnels.
